Accessibility statement

Simblia wants everyone to be able to use simblia.com and the Simblia platform, including people who use a keyboard, screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology.

Standard

We design and test against WCAG 2.2 level AA, the level behind the European standard EN 301 549.

Status

simblia.com is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. We know of no content on the site that fails the requirements.

Exceptions

This statement does not cover:

  • Content from other organisations. Some pages link to reports and pages published by others, such as Europol and Red Barnet, often as PDF files. We do not control how accessible they are. The point we rely on is always stated in the text on our own page.
  • The Simblia platform. The platform is not yet released. It will be assessed against the same standard before release, and this statement will be extended to cover it.

How we assessed the site

This statement is based on a self-assessment. Every page is tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA on desktop and mobile each time the site changes, and we check keyboard use, zoom, forms and the interactive demos by hand. Problems we find are logged and fixed before the statement is updated.

What we've done

  • Colours meet contrast requirements.
  • Every page works with a keyboard alone and shows where focus is.
  • Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
  • Pages respect reduced-motion settings and can be zoomed to 200%.
  • Interactive demos, such as the Scam Lab, work without a mouse.

Tell us about a problem

Email contact@simblia.com and we'll reply within 5 working days. If you cannot use something on the site, tell us and we will give you the content in another way.
